I just added several new bird photos to the website. I had hoped to have more winter landscapes from this season to add to the gallery. Unfortunately the few times we’ve had fresh snow, my schedule got in the way of me getting out to photograph the winter scenery here in NH. The photo below of the female mallard is one of the several photos added to the New Photos Gallery
The Northern Cardinal has been visiting the feeders daily since he first showed up back in November. I’ve seen the female in the area but never at the feeders.
We’re still waiting on snow here in central NH. Hopefully it starts to fall soon so I can get out there and make some photographs of the NH winter. Until them I’ll continue to work on my bird photography. Here’s a shot of a male Hairy Woodpecker in the late afternoon light.
Without any snow, stick season here in NH has curbed my desire to get out there and photograph landscapes. So, I’ve been concentrating on my bird photography. There have been a lot of goldfinch around over the past few weeks. Here’s a photo of one from yesterday.
I got excited when I noticed a Bald Eagle land in one of the trees by the lake this morning. I grabbed my camera and slowly opened one of the porch windows so I could make some photographs of a Bald Eagle. Needless to say I was very surprised when I looked up and saw two!
